Saturday 12th May saw our second Antiques related event at the museum and this one saw the turnout we were hoping for. We had some interesting items brought into the museum including the object young Harry is holding to the right. This necklace has been passed down in the family - it consists of an arrowhead encased in gold - the arrowhead is believed to be Native American.
Another object that caught our eye was a simple metal object which has been passed down in the family as a stand for hot irons - but it turns out
that the rather ornate piece of metal is actually the base of a Victorian lamp. Huge thank you to everyone that came along for this. We had great fun seeing other people's treasures.
