On Sunday 30th July we had a small reception to unveil two donation boxes designed by Falkland Islands Community School (FICS) students, Fergus Crowie and Rebecca Goss.
A year ago we asked students at the FICS to come up with designs for a donation box (our kettle just wasn't up to the task any longer!) We had a great response with 17 students submitting some really innovative and exciting designs. We loved so many of them and if money had been no object we would have had more made! We finally agreed on the two designs below. The winner each received £30 and a 10 year membership to the museum.
Thank you so all the students who took the time to submit a design; we really appreciate their efforts. Congratulations to Fergus and Rebecca.
