The Museum's small shop offers a number of unique items as well as more standard souvenir fare.
Our Taxidermist, Steve Massam, is also a talented sculptor and has crafted a series of figurines exclusively for the Museum. Our cold-cast bronze range begins with the little Rockhopper penguin, progressing through seals (fur seal, sealion and elephant seal) to the stunning bust of a black-browed albatross.
In additional to our wildlife sculptures, we also offer the exquisite figurine of Britannia, produced in a limited edition of 25 only. This statuette is a miniature replica of the Britannia that graces the Liberation Monument and commemorates the liberation of the Falklands from Argentine occupation in 1982.
Other items made by Steve and his helpers include replica scrimshaw - a popular and nature-friendly way of collecting these beautiful carvings.
We also stock a range of books relating to Falkland Island lifestyle, history, flora and fauna; postcards, keyrings, coasters and a series of unusual and attractive postcard and pen sets which includes a set of Stanley views from the 1880s.
