The evening was attended by Leona Roberts and Andrea Barlow of the museum, FIMA Friends Donald Lamont, Hugh Osborne, Bill Featherstone and James Marsh, Gwen Thompson and Darren Plato (the building project team), and two young Islanders who had worked on the project during college breaks, Jess McPhee and Nick Roberts.
We didn't win but it was an evening full of glitz and glamour and one we will never forget. It was an honour enough to be shortlisted!
In 2015 the Historic Dockyard Museum was shortlisted in the International category of the Museums + Heritage Awards for Excellence!
