We were really chuffed when we were asked if we would like to take part in the RAF100 Baton Relay when it passed through Stanley on Sunday 3rd June. There was no way were not going to turn down the chance to be a part of this historic event!
Anyone familiar with our weather will know that the weather on Sunday was not typical of a winter's day - it was stunning!
We met at the Jetty Centre and were soon allocated our place in the relay - we were really happy to have been given Whale Bone Arch. For us this was the perfect spot along the route (the NT carried out much needed preservation work on the Arch last year.)
Massive thanks to the RAF for inviting us and to all the children for being a part of this event.
