Falkland Islands Museum & National Trust
Saturday 25th October saw us host our second Trafalgar Dinner - this time at the Malvina House Hotel.
The historic heart of Stanley
With special thanks to Mr Laskaridis and the Aikaterini Laskaridis Foundation
The evening started at the Historic Dockyard Museum where guests were treated to a special viewing of our Nelson and Trafalgar exhibition. Items included personal items of Lord Nelson including a lock of his hair! Special thanks must go to Mr Laskaridis for the loan of these items.
Thanks must also go to Pussers Rum, the Seafish Chandlery and Stanley Services for their generous donations towards the evening.
Following the exhibition (and after sampling our home made grog) guests made their way to the Malvina House Hotel where they enjoyed a four course meal along with some of the usual Trafalgar Dinner traditions (Toast to the Immortal Memory, the Baron of Beef and the Ships of the Line).
