Saturday 14th – Identification Day 1-3pm (FREE)
Tuesday 17th – Conor O’Brian and the restoration of the Ilen with Dr Jim McAdam – 7pm start - £5pp
Winter Book Sale - Sat 21st (10 till 4pm) and Sun 22nd (1pm till 4pm) (for a small donation) All proceeds going towards an AED for the Museum.
Saturday 12th - Antiques! With Rex Eagle 10am till 12pm (FREE)
Tuesday 22nd – TALK The History of FIODA with Paula Fowmes (7pm start) - £5pp
Tuesday 5th – TALK VC & GC Facts, Frauds & Funnies with Rob Marshall (7pm start) - £5pp
Friday 8th – The Museum at Night – (6pm till 9pm). Normal admission fees apply.
Friday 22nd – Murder at the Museum – A mid-winter murder mystery evening for teams of 6. Licensed wine bar. ALL MONEY RAISED SPLIT BETWEEN FIODA AND THE FIMNT. (7.30pm till 11pm.) More info to follow.
Friday 13th July HDM CLOSES FOR FLOOR CLEANING/OILING AND OTHER MAINTENANCE
Saturday 21st – Auction (please let us know in advance if you would like to come or would like a chance to submit a sealed bid beforehand). Proceeds from the auction will be going towards various projects.
Saturday 4th – The Falklands Ball, hosted by the FIMNT at the Town Hall. Kindly sponsored by the Falkland Islands Company. All proceeds from this and the raffle going towards a new San Carlos Museum.
Tuesday 7th August – HDM RE-OPENS
Tuesday 14th – Rocks & Fossils with Emma Brook 7pm start in the Natural History section - £5pp
Saturday 25th - Fossil identification with Emma Brook (10 till 12pm) – FREE
End of Winter Book Sale - Sat 1st (10 till 4pm) and Sun 2nd (1 till 4pm) – donations only. All proceeds towards an AED.
Tuesday 11th – TALK The Goose Green Scots with Emma Brook (7pm start) - £5pp
Friday 28th – Annual Macmillan Coffee Morning (ALL proceeds go to Macmillan). 9 till 2pm
Wednesday 31st – Halloween at the Museum kindly sponsored by SAAS (6pm till 7.30pm).
Sunday 11th – ‘Voices from the First World War’ exhibition opens.
Friday 7th – TALK Falklands & Coronel with Martyn Barlow (7pm start) - £5pp
Saturday 15th – Christmas at the Museum, Lights kindly sponsored by Seafish, Grotto sponsored by the Chandlery Supermarket. FREE
